This policy covers ac2consulting.co.uk, operated by AC2 Consulting Limited, a company registered in England and Wales with its registered office at 117 Merlin Road, Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire, DN17 1LN ("AC2", "we", "us").
It explains how we handle personal data in connection with this website only. Work carried out for clients is governed by the separate engagement contract agreed for that project, not by this policy.
This site does not use cookies, analytics, or any tracking scripts, and it has no forms that submit data to us. It's a set of static pages — nothing you do on it is recorded or sent to our servers.
The only personal data we receive is what you choose to send us directly, for example by emailing [email protected] or calling us. Typically this is your name, contact details, and whatever you tell us about your project.
Our hosting provider may keep standard server access logs (such as IP address, browser type, and request timestamps) for security and operational purposes, in line with normal industry practice.
We use any information you send us only to respond to your enquiry and, if it goes ahead, to deliver and administer the resulting project. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
We keep enquiry and client correspondence for as long as it's needed to deliver a project and meet our legal and accounting obligations, then delete or anonymise it.
Some project entries on this site link to externally hosted demos or tools we've built (for example, PureSCADA). Those destinations have their own terms and privacy practices, which we don't control — please check them separately.
Under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, you can ask us to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you, or ask us to restrict or object to how we use it. To do so, email [email protected].
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
